About BritBuy
BritBuy is an online marketplace that allows approved businesses to list and sell products to customers in the United Kingdom.
BritBuy provides the platform for sellers to advertise and sell their products. Sellers remain responsible for their own products, listings, pricing, stock, delivery, customer service, and legal compliance.

Who Can Sell on BritBuy
The BritBuy Seller Programme is only open to businesses.
- Be a genuine business, sole trader, partnership, limited company, or other recognised business entity.
- Provide accurate business information when requested.
- Have the right to sell the products you list.
- Comply with all relevant UK laws, regulations, and government guidelines.
- Keep your seller account details accurate and up to date.
BritBuy may refuse, suspend, or remove any seller account if we believe the seller is not a genuine business or does not meet our requirements.
3
Free Selling
Selling on BritBuy is currently free. This means BritBuy does not currently charge sellers a listing fee, subscription fee, or sales commission.
Any marketplace, service, processing, or platform fee may be charged to the customer at checkout where shown before payment. Such customer-facing fees do not create a seller commission unless BritBuy separately notifies sellers of a future seller fee.
BritBuy may introduce fees in the future. If this happens, sellers will be notified before any new fees apply.
4

By uploading content, you confirm that you own the content or have permission to use it, the content does not infringe anyone else's rights, and BritBuy may display the content on its website, marketing materials, emails, and platform pages for the purpose of promoting your products and the BritBuy marketplace.

12
Account Suspension or Removal
BritBuy may suspend or remove a seller account if the seller breaches these Seller Terms, provides false or misleading information, lists prohibited, unsafe, or illegal products, receives repeated customer complaints, fails to fulfil orders properly, misuses the platform, or acts in a way that may harm BritBuy, customers, or other sellers.
Where appropriate, BritBuy may give the seller an opportunity to fix the issue. However, BritBuy may take immediate action where there is a serious risk to customers, the platform, or legal compliance.
13
Payments
Where payments are processed through BritBuy or a third-party payment provider, sellers must follow the relevant payment terms and verification requirements.
If BritBuy applies a customer-facing service or platform fee, that fee is charged to the customer and is separate from the seller's listed product price unless otherwise stated.
Sellers are responsible for any taxes, VAT, accounting records, and financial reporting related to their sales. BritBuy is not responsible for a seller's tax obligations.
14
Data Protection and Customer Information
Sellers must only use customer information for the purpose of fulfilling orders and providing customer service. Sellers must not:

- Share customer data with unauthorised third parties.
- Misuse customer names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, or order details.
- Contact customers for unrelated purposes.
Sellers must comply with applicable data protection laws.
15
Limitation of Responsibility
BritBuy aims to provide a reliable and trusted marketplace, but sellers remain responsible for their own business activities, products, listings, orders, and legal compliance.
BritBuy is not responsible for losses caused by a seller's breach of these terms, illegal products, misleading listings, failed deliveries, customer disputes, or non-compliance with applicable laws.
16
Changes to These Terms
BritBuy may update these Seller Terms from time to time. If important changes are made, BritBuy may notify sellers by email, account notice, or website update.
By continuing to use the BritBuy platform after changes are made, sellers agree to the updated terms.
